Pastor John Wagner received his Master of Arts in Religion and Theology and started as a Youth Pastor in 1987. He currently leads the Turning Point Community Church (TPCC) and is responsible for crafting the church’s programs as well as its theological core principles. Pastor John Wagner is always interested in new techniques and methods that can help him deliver the Gospel message.
TPCC’s ministry is based on a series of core beliefs based on its principle document, the Holy Bible. Believing that the Bible is the Word of God infallibly transmitted to humankind, TPCC holds that God is an infinite Spirit of love, power, and wisdom and that Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, Christ was born of the Virgin Mary and came to atone for the sins of humanity, offering salvation to all who would accept him. The church awaits His visible return to rule the Earth and believes that the church represents a spiritual body with Christ at its head. TPCC follows two principle practices of faith, baptism and communion, and believes in the power of laying on hands to ordain and to heal the sick. Marriage is defined as between a man and a woman. TPCC believes in the Trinity of God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that this triune God is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governing of all.
